Just used this plugin on a page created by Types and Views. Because pages created using Types and Views makes extensive use of View Templates, it seems that the review plugin calls a review box for each template, as well as the main post.

Try in the Views plugin to display excerpts instead of content, and see it this fixes the issue.

Yup, Excerpt did the trick but now I have another problem – It’s displaying an Excerpt 🙂
So basically, a page which is supposed to have about four paragraphs displays two lines of text, and I cannot really change the Excerpt main settings as its used by other areas of the site. Any other suggestions?

Ok I resolved it – partly. I used this code as a workaround
[wpv-post-excerpt length=”1000000000″]
Doubt I will have a post of 1000000000 fields 🙂 Now of course my next problem is that excerpts strip out HTML, so three paragraphs now appear as one. Any work around for that?

Haha.. for sure there is a solution, but I just don’t know it yet 🙂
Probably if I can take a look in your dashboard, maybe I will find it. If this is OK, create a temp admin for me and send details via the contact page.

Thanks, I got it.
The problem is I filter content of the post to add the Rating Box. So, when using a plugin like Views, it generate something like (a post inside another post), that’s why the Rating Box shows twice on the same “page”.
This is a known bug in the Views plugin as their support stated here.
I’ve added the solution to the WP Reviews itself to test it out.
Now you can use shortcode
[wpv-post-body], this will fix the duplicate Rating Box issue.
P.S. I’ve updated the plugin on your site already to the latest version with changes.
