Sorry if this is a duplicate. When my theme wraps shortcodes around the testimonials_form shortcode it no longer loads scripts and styles. That means the form shows up correctly but testimonial submissions do not go into the database.

    Works: [testimonials_form]
    Fails: [wrap] [testimonials_form] [/wrap]

Wrap is just an example. It only fails if it’s a real shortcode. For instance this works: [fake] [testimonials_form] [/fake]

Why you would want to wrap it in another shortcode? Can you please provide a link to where I see it?

I can’t show a link at this point but the context is that the WP Bakery Visual Composer uses shortcodes like [vc_row] as part of the visual layout builder. Virtually any content or shortcode you put in through the visual composer will be wrapped in numerous shortcodes.

I’ve just tried the Visual Composer and you are right, I’ve done a quick fix and seems to be working now. Please, download the Customer Testimonials version 0.1.6.2 within your account and install it instead of the old plugin.

Let me know how it goes.
