Hi Buddy. This is just a suggestion. The global settings is great, but I think it would be nice if we can have on a post level, the possibility of being able to choose the alignment of the call to action button, the position of the rating box (top or bottom) and also its alignment. It gives more flexibility depending on the users needs for a specific review.
In addition, this may have something to do with me, but I use the “post image” feature on Thesis. For some reason I can not get the rating box to show first before the image. See example here… http://www.iblogzone.com/smallbusiness/another-test-author-hreview-1-0-0-1/ The post image should be aligning on the left side of the text right under the rating box, like I have it on here > http://www.iblogzone.com/2012/05/123contactform-professional-form-builder.html (free version).

Sure, I will include this under the display tab as a specific review settings, already added to my todo list.
Also, I have a plan to add shortcodes to allow showing the rating box anywhere in the post. (this will solve a lot of display issues when it’s done).
I see, to explain this.. the rating box always embedded before content, at the same time Thesis embed post image the same way! At iblogzone live blog, the image is embeded in the post editor, so it’s part of content and that’s why the rating box show on top of it, but in the test site, you are using post image which embed the image on top of content+rating box! (I hope this makes sense).
Thanks for the suggestion, I think we will be able to fix that.

Hey buddy. I updated the plugin and the results look weird. Do I have to disable the “hide reviews” on the general setting and use the shortcode instead? Or does using the shortcode overide the general settings?

The shortcode has its own template, if you are going to use it, then “Hide Rating Box” on the display tab (you don’t need to disable the rating box within the main setting).
Using shortcode do not override general settings!
Some side notes:
– When using shortcode, think of placing it at lease under the first paragraph.
– You can use the shortcode more than once in your review post, (for example: on long reviews)
I hope this makes sense!

Installed the latest version. Image and button alignments are working great. However, for some reason, when using the ratingbox shortcode, the summary is not showing. please look here and see if it something I am doing wrong http://www.iblogzone.com/smallbusiness/another-test-author-hreview-1-0-0-1/

This is normal, I didn’t include it in the shortcode, I thought it will not play nicely all the times, I mean the sammary should be displayed on the top of the review or something, but in case the rating box won’t looks good, then I prefer to hide it and use the other option, so we are good!
By the way, the sammary is required by Google to validate, so by this way we still provide it to the boots, not for the readers as they have the whole review to read.

OK, I got it. That’s cool actually. I like it better that way. Tells the bots about it, but users don’t have to see it.. Great… again, looking good. For now I am starting to run out of ideas 🙂
