I have author hreview and wp testimonial but I am struggling to implement it the way I want.
I have 30 or so pages that have reviews on them. I have used hreview on these pages so that the review relates to what that individual has said. I would like all the other pages that don’t contain just an individual’s review to show the aggregate review based on all the reviews.
I’m not sure if it is possible or if I am missing something. Any help would be appreciated.
A link to your site would help a lot. Anyways, I will try to answer you, hopefully this will help.
The Author hReview plugin is made for editors/authors to review only one product, this is a stand alone page or post, reviews do not have any relation between them. (No aggregate in this case).
The WP Customer Testimonials is made for those who sell a product on a website, means the whole website is dedicated to that particular product. The plugin allow members or visitors to submit a testimonial, the plugin adds markups for aggregate rating by users on the front page (root domain) of the site. So, starts show only on the (front/home) page of the site.
So, I am afraid what you are trying to do is not possible. (if I understood you well)
P.S. I am working on the new WP Reviews plugin which will give you the option to allow site visitors or users to add their reviews to the main review that is made by the author. This plugin should be ready for testing in a few days. So, stay tuned.
