I am a newbie with the WPRS plugin. So far, I managed to successfully install it on my WP 4.0 website http://www.krimi.link and translate it into German. Also I used the editor review functionality on some posts. this all works fine.
But now I would like to setup the review pages so that they display not only editor reviews with descriptions and ratings (stars and criteria % values), but at the same time also user comments to the review posts (also with text, stars and criteria % values). I have tried the review type that allows only editor reviews. Then I switched to the product type with aggregate option but this only shows user reviews… I also did not find a solution in the documentation. SO, HOW CAN I CONFIGURE THE PLUGIN THAT BOTH WORK AT THE SAME TIME? PLEASE HELP!

There is a filter than you can use to change the Box template output, however it’s not mentioned in the documentation yet because we are still testing it and making several changes to the plugin core.
Anyways, I wrote the filter in case you would like to try it out. You can grab it from GitHub.
Once you add this code to your Theme’s functions.php file, it will change the “Aggregate” template output.
To make the Box display Editor and User ratings at the same time, you need to do a little trick when you edit your review post/page:
1- Choose review type “Rating” and choose the Editor rating star.
2- Switch to review type “Aggregate” then keep it this way (even though you can’t see the rating star anymore).
After you save your post, you should see both Editor and User details on the front-end.
I hope this helps.

Thank you very much, yes this worked fine!
Just some little problems:
1. The stars of the editor rating are not displayed on the left side (only thumb up…).
2. It would be helpful to add the description “Editor Rating” above the criteria bar graphs on the left side and “User Rating” above the criteria bar graphs on the right side.
3. When clicking on the “User Rating” tab at the top of the block, nothing happens
Thank you very much for your support,

Please, give me some more time to finalize the next update for the WP Rich Snippets plugin, it should fix that issue.

I know this has been mentioned a couple of time now, have you integrated showing both editor and user reviews in the same box like the WP reviews box live yet? This is the only thing holding me back from making the switch on a few sites.

I have tried this code out and got it working okay.
But, I must say I prefer the layout for the Rating Box as delivered by the Reviews Plugin instead.
If you are primarily focusing on moving forward with the Rich Snippets plugin, could you create a Box Template that matches the layout from the Reviews Plugin?

I will see what I can do, however I am not sure if I will implement this in the plugin core.

I have applied the code provided on Github to display both editor and user reviews but when a user provides a rating the user review section spills into my sidebar which causes the entire sidebar to move to the footer. Is there a way to adjust the display to float at like 90% of the post area or something so my sidebar widgets stay in place?
Sorry, I don’t know all the terminology since I’m not a programmer/coder but I’m trying to make it work. I can provide a link if you need to see an example.

No problem, it’s always better to open a new thread for your own question.
