Love the feel, navigation and features of this plugin. Unfortunately, we have never managed to get any of our rich snippets to appear in Google SERP with this plugin (even though it shows up perfectly in the rich snippets testing tool). I emailed Google to find out what the problem is and why our site’s rich snippets are not showing in Google SERP and that responded with the following:
“Your content is marked up for rich snippets, but that content isn’t actually visible on the page itself. In general, Google won’t display any content in rich snippets that human visitors can’t see.
Here’s an example of the hidden content we found on your site:
Markup Type: review
Hidden content: Mark ups are hidden using CSS
What should I do?
As you can see, we are using [ratingbox] for the review.

Hi Bret, looks like Google is getting smarter everyday.
Ok, the default rating box for sure has something extra than what the shortcode have, and Google is able to catch that. (sorry, scratch that, it’s not correct, it’s just that Google got the idea of positioning the rating box a way from the screen)
Have you tried to enabled the “More Snippets” in the plugin Technical settings? Enable that options and let’s give it a go, wait for a few days to see if this bring up the stars in search results.
Of course, the quickest solution would be enabling the default rating box. But, maybe you don’t want the box to be on the top or the post, I can manage to display it at the bottom of the post if you would like. (Let me know)
Here you go, you have two solutions that may work… At the mean time, I will be thinking and doing some tests.

Thank you for the fast reply. I will enable “More Snippets” and will wait for a few days. I will let you know if it works and I will report back. Thank you!
