    Hi Hesham,

    Can ya point me in the right direction please?

    You can create a new widget area on the top of the content of your page (also read this post).

    Or you can wait till I do the shortcode for that, now sure when I will be done though, I am working on re-coding a big part of the plugin to add more functionality, which it taking a lot of work.

    Hi Hesham,

    I am using genesis for this, im normally ok at this stuff BUT maybe sitting here too long looking at this site…. heres what i have up to now, I have registered the new sidebar within the functions file and now im just trying to get the widget content to display….Via the page template “below”…..

    Am i missing anything here??

    <?php /*
    Template Name: Topten
    */ ?>

    <?php

    add_action( ‘genesis_meta’, ‘theme_name_template_name_genesis_meta’ );

    function top_ten_viewer() {

    if ( is_active_sidebar( ‘top-ten’ ) ) {

    dynamic_sidebar( ‘top-ten’ );

    }
    else {
    genesis_standard_loop();
    }

    }

    genesis();

    Thanks Hesham, It did help, I now have them showing…..HOWEVER, whats happening is its showing the top ten then the actual website content ALL the way down below the top ten if that makes sense….Heres my code now…Is this because im using “after headr”….. its NOT appearing in the actual website wrap, its like its in its own wrap and then all the way down at the bottom is my primary side bar and website content….

    Thanks for helping by the way…..

    add_action( ‘genesis_after_header’, ‘mp_cta_genesis’ );

    function mp_cta_genesis() {

    if ( is_home() ) {
    return;
    }

    // If it’s the About page, display CTA #1
    elseif ( is_page( ‘top-10-wordpress-hosting’ ) ) {
    genesis_widget_area( ‘top-ten’);

    }
    }

    Try changing the after_header hook to before content:

    add_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'mp_cta_genesis' );

    To be:

    add_action( 'genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap', 'mp_cta_genesis' );

    Or find another hook if this didn’t work for you, here is a list of genesis hooks.

    Hi Hesham,

    This again places the toprated reviews widget within the page BUT all the original content is then pushed to the bottom!

    Ive tried most of the other hooks that i thought it would be but it still produces the same result…..so basicall its going where it should BUT pushes everything else including primary sidebar to the bottom..

    Any advice??

    Thanks for helping, much appreciated.
